Sheryl will be talking about a new approach in treating cancer.  We are not given enough options from our doctors on how to treat cancer with less invasive ways other than surgery, chemo, and radiation.  Come and join Sheryl with the discussion of her book, “My Journey of Completion”.

Sheryl's journey has been going on for 2 years since her arrival to Mexico and here is a brief description of that journey from Sheryl.

"I’ve settled in to a place that I can call home. Looking at the fabulous perspective and the mountains that surround me, I couldn't have chosen a better region to continue to heal myself. I even started an organic garden, which surrounds me as I step out my front door.

It is funny how life takes its turns, for I have lived in Florida for fifty-five years and now because of my illness I had to move to Mexico for financial reasons.

Everyone lives in fear of a cancer diagnoses.  Aside from the pain and stress of the disease itself, the diagnosis brings with it the horror of being subjected to terrifying surgeries, radiation, and chemotherapy…all of which can have side effects as bad as or worse than the disease.  When I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I wasn’t willing to have my health ruined by US standard cancer treatments.  Instead, my husband and I went to the internet, and armed with our belief that the usual prescribed course of action wasn’t right for me, discovered highly effective alternative treatments being used in Europe and in Mexico.

My book tells the story of how I beat cancer without surgery, chemo, or radiation.  Throughout my daily journal, which I also shared online as a blog with readers who followed my journey of hope, I charted my progress.  The information ranges from the types of alternative treatments available to the necessity of lifestyle changes to stay healthy.  I feel my memoir is a radiant beacon of possibility for anyone who has been diagnosed with cancer.

The message always remains that how you treat your illness should be your choice.  Everyone is unique, and it’s your right to trust the wisdom of your body and mind to choose the path that is best for you.  Follow me on the road to recovery… and learn about the innovative options available when you start thinking outside the box."

The book is available at the website http://outskirtspress.com/myjourneyofcompletion/  and also at Amazon.com and through Barnes & Noble. It is available by E-book or Kindle and is available throughout the world. The following links are news articles about Sheryl.
